The short version
Your text never leaves your browser. We don't store it, transmit it, or read it. Every tool on TextTools runs 100% client-side. We collect minimal analytics (page views, tool usage counts) to understand what's useful. We don't sell data to anyone.
What we collect
Analytics: We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to count page views and tool usage. GA4 collects your approximate IP region, browser type, and the pages you visit. We do not use session recording or heatmapping tools.
Contact form submissions: If you contact us, we store your name, email, and message to respond to you. We don't add you to any marketing list without your explicit consent.
Your text: Nothing. Zero. The word counter, readability score, and every other tool on this site processes your text in JavaScript running in your browser. No network request is made for your content.
Cookies
We use a single localStorage key (textools-theme) to remember your dark/light mode preference. GA4 sets cookies for session tracking. No advertising cookies are set by us.
Third-party services
Google Analytics: Collects anonymous usage data. Governed by Google's Privacy Policy.
Affiliate links: When you click a Grammarly or other affiliate link, you leave our site. Those sites have their own privacy policies. We don't control what they collect.
Fonts: Google Fonts is loaded asynchronously (media=print swap). Google may log your IP when the font file is fetched.
Your rights
Under GDPR, CCPA, and CASL, you have the right to access, correct, or delete any personal data we hold about you (which is limited to contact form data). Email us at infinfysolutions@gmail.com to exercise these rights.
Children
TextTools is not directed at children under 13. We don't knowingly collect data from children.
